Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels

What is diamond cutting? Diamond cutting uses a CNC lathe to precisely skim the face of your alloy wheel, cutting away damage and oxidation to reveal the polished aluminium beneath. The result is a highly reflective, machined surface finished with a clear lacquer to protect the bare metal.

This process replicates the original factory finish found on many premium and performance vehicles. Our technicians set up each wheel individually on the lathe to ensure perfect concentricity and a flawless cut across the entire face.

How it works

1

Assessment & setup

We inspect each wheel for depth of damage and set it up on our CNC lathe for precise alignment.

2

Machining the face

The lathe cuts a fine, even layer from the wheel face, removing all damage and revealing bright aluminium.

3

Powder coat the barrel

The barrel and spokes are powder coated in your chosen colour to complement the machined face.

4

Clear lacquer & finish

A protective clear lacquer is applied over the machined face to seal and preserve the bright finish.
